The Green Agenda’s workshop held in Warsaw, Poland on April 29-30, gathered over 30 SEI experts, national partners, and thematic leads to discuss transitioning from thematic assessments to national assessments for development of Comprehensive Green Transition Roadmaps for Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. The goal is to set the foundation for a more sustainable future for the participating countries under the SEI's Green Agenda project and assist them in aligning to EU standards.

At the workshop, participants reviewed key findings related to the countries' readiness for a green transition in areas like climate, energy, smart mobility, buildings and renovation, industry, zero pollution, farm-to-fork, biodiversity, as well as important cross-cutting issues such as finances for transition, digitalisation, social impact, research and development and innovation. Discussions were focused on outlining next steps to progress the environmental objectives of the nations, with each country's profile examined to ensure quality of assessments.

The workshop sessions concentrating on thematic findings fostered collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic planning.

Our Green Agenda project for Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, supported by the Swedish Intrnational Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) is centered around creating national roadmaps for green transition based on assessments at both the thematic and national levels. These assessments target key aspects of the European Green Deal and overarching issues to facilitate a comprehensive green transition across four countries.
